An outstanding Louis Féraud maxi dress from the late 1960s. Made from a fine and floaty nylon jersey with a bold signature print in brilliant colors - aqua blue, purple, pink, mustard and black. The dress features a figure-hugging cut with many thoughtful details. The collar extends into two large triangular bands that tie in front and function as a decorative scarf. Underneath the front of the dress closes with a fabric-covered button and a hook & eye at the top. The sleeves flare out into beautiful angel sleeves from the elbows down. So does the skirt from the knees down to the ankles thanks to large inset wedges of fabric at the sides. The cut is cleverly combined with the lines of the print to create a very interesting, dynamic effect. A striking piece. 100% "Ban-Lon" nylon, unlined. Made in Italy.
Excellent. Minimal flaws as follow - a few snags and very faint marks to the delicate fabric, notably one to the bottom of the scarf (only visible from one side). Faint underarm discoloration to one side only. None of these flaws will detract when the dress is worn. Please see the pictures.
